Traditionally influenced by Blues, Rock, Americana, and Folk, currently performing as an electric guitar driven trio, solo acoustic performer, presenter of guitar workshops nationwide, personal, and online guitar instruction.

1983 – 1992 – Roger Wilson & The Low Overhead Band – Atlanta, GA: Fronted a 3 piece guitar driven trio mainly in Georgia and regionally around the southeastern U.S. Opened for such acts as Stephen Stills, Three Dog Night, Little Feat, Restless Heart, Wet Willie, and the Marshall Tucker Band. Released 1 studio recorded commercial cassette tape in 1990.

1978 – 1983 – Roger Wilson Band – Atlanta, GA: Lead and performed as 4-piece band around Atlanta, GA as well as the southeast. Released 1 commercial LP record album in 1979.

1973 – Present – Roger Wilson Guitar Studio – Atlanta, GA – Owned and operated this brick-and-mortar business full time in 2 locations for 12 years to 1985. Instructed over one thousand students in various guitar styles including theory, ear training, improvisation, flat pick, and finger style.
